Casa Turquesa is everyone’s dream. Tetê Etrusco decided to open her own hostel to share her passion of cooking and the art of hospitality. After a long search, she finally found the ideal abode in the historic heart of the city, renovated it passionately with a partner and one of her friends, architect Renato Tavolaro, who specializes in colonial architecture – he had already renovated and restored 40 buildings in the center of Paraty.

The result is an exclusive space with 9 suites giving Casa Turquesa an intimate atmosphere and the restoration that provides old-world charm and a quaint facade. The reception is perfect with a warm welcome (you will receive a pair of personalized Havaianas upon arrival for example).

The colonial charm coupled with modern comfort (Egyptian cotton linens, wi-fi, etc.) make this place an oasis of peace where you can relax and find serenity in the living room, the library, the patio surrounded by tropical flowers, around the pool with and Jacuzzi, or at the bar.

And, spoiler alert, EVERY room has its own unique décor inspired by the colors of its interiors.

We are already imagining ourselves vacationing here!
